2014 NY Fashion Week Recap

Last year we really thought that NY Fashion Week had really outdone itself. A couple weeks ago 2014 NY Fashion Week took everything to a whole new level with all of it’s stunning designer events! Honestly we’ve enjoyed the events of London Fashion Week, but we can’t stop thinking about the breathtaking runway collections and showcases from NY Fashion Week. Just in cased you missed it let’s recap on the phenomenal designers that have everyone excited for Spring 2015 collections!

On September 4th at The Salon in the Lincoln Center, Meskita debuted their Spring 2015 collection. This collection boasts a majestic ivory and gold color palette with roman inspired dresses from fitted minis to long flowing maxis. We really loved the semi sheer pleated skirts and the alluring cut-out bust lines of this collection!
BCBGMAXAZRIA turned heads at the runway on September 4th at The Theater in the Lincoln Center with their Spring 2015 collection. Designer Max Azria says that his wife’s “bohemian-chic-luxe” style inspired his newest collection that features soft pastels, and long flowing A-line dresses cinched at the waist with obi inspired sashes. We love how this collection is effortlessly feminine and whimsical!

Kate Spade never fails to impress! The showcase of their Spring 2015 collection on September 5th at Center 548 had spectators captivated. This vibrant collection boasts bold colors paired with cool cotton fabrics, chic sandals, and oversized purses, which makes any of these pieces perfect to sport while walking down a boardwalk on a beautiful sunny day.
We absolutely loved Barbara Tfank’s 1950s retro look for their Spring 2015 collection! On September 8th Barbara Tfank showcased 15 elegant dresses at Suite NY. We really love the aloe green cocktail dress and the use of shimmering fabrics. This is definitely a collection that aims to make any woman feel radiant!
Badgley Mischka flooded the runways with flowing feminine floral gowns from their Spring 2015 collection on September 9th at The Theater in the Lincoln Center. In this collection you will find soft painted floral prints paired with intricate iridescent beading to complete the perfect glamour look for spring.
